Mr. Keegan was my third newborn in a row that decided he wasn’t interested in sleeping. 😉 However, his little bright eyes were so gorgeous I didn’t mind a bit working a little harder for these shots.

Rivers was my first baby girl in 2014, and ohmygoodness, she is GORGEOUS! She was most definitely NOT interested in sleeping for about 99% of the session, but I still managed to win eventually. 😉
Mr. Hudson arrived a little early, so he spent a few weeks in the hospital, which means he wasn’t able to have a photo session quite as early as most new babies. So he wasn’t particularly interested in sleeping for our session. However, he was SUCH a good boy for me. With a little extra work, we were able to get some great images of him, mommy & daddy, and also a few of his aunt and sweet little cousin. What a fun day! 🙂
I’ve been photographing the members of Austin’s family for a few years, so I was pretty excited to learn I would also be photographing the newest member of the family throughout his first year. He is every bit as sweet as he is adorable, and I had an absolute blast with him! Thank you for trusting me, guys! 😉
This is our baby girl Autumn, her fiance Daniel and her soon-to-be-stepson Jacob. As a mommy, it has been bittersweet watching her grow up and move on to bigger things. But she is happy and healthy, and I couldn’t be more proud of the young woman she has become. She has overcome so much in her life already, and has become more strong, brave, and beautiful after each trial. And now… her Daddy and I have the pleasure of watching her become a mommy sometime this fall and becoming grandparents ourselves. Life is so so good.
I’ve had the BEST year with this little guy. I’ve visited with this family every three months since Gavin was still in his mommy’s tummy. It was such a joy to celebrate his first birthday and spend a day hanging out with them in their home. Thank you guys so much for choosing me to be a part of his first year!!!
I met with these little ladies for a Christmas mini session in November, but they weren’t quite feeling the cold, so we decided to hang out again at their place for a quick little session. As you can see from their happy smiles, it went over much better. 😉
My one (and only) resolution for this year is to blog more. I was just way too lazy busy to keep up for 2013. So… here’s to a new year of blogging!! And what a great way to start, with sweet Memphis!
On a personal and professional level, 2013 was an AMAZING year for me. Lots of ups and downs, but so so so much goodness. But enough words… onto the pictures. 😉
I’ve been photographing Easton’s big sister Emmi every few months since she was born. And ever since I did mommy’s maternity shoot a few months ago, I’ve been not-so-patiently awaiting his arrival into this wonderful little family! Congratulations, Jasmine & Kyle! You did good. 🙂
